Everlasting Love

 In this age of momentary attraction and instant gratification, how blessed one is to experience a timeless connection. When you lay your eyes on someone and your soul goes, yup, she's the one. 

Can you imagine, how beautiful it is to see your destiny standing right in front of you. A destiny made up of bright, shining eyes, tinkling laughter, a voice that stirs a thousand emotions in you and a heart filled with so much love to give that the whole world could feel belonged. A destiny shaped like the most beautiful girl in the world. A girl for whom you could wait for ten years, or even a lifetime. A girl you can't believe can be yours, until God himself comes, knocks on your dumb head and points you exasperatedly in her direction, while walking off shaking his head, wondering how can his creations be so stupid. She may never talk to you, and yet own you so completely, that any girl coming after her would have to understand her , in order to know you .

But there would be no girl after her. You can't go back to being a mortal after being touched by heaven.

The question is, how do you tell a girl like her you love her. When your emotions for her run so deep that their mere thought brings up a lump in your throat. How do you beg her to come barging into your life and completely take over it.

You feel you should be a man and tell her outright, that both of you are meant to be together. It's then that words start deserting you. This is not a girl you saw in the metro and decided to take a chance. This is a connection that goes back countless of births. She has been entwined with your soul since the beginning of time. और इन हज़ारों ज़िन्दगीयों के जज़्बात आप की ज़बान पर भारी पड़ते हैं. 

How do you tell your mom you love her? How do you tell your dad you are thankful for everything? You don't. You just hope they know. 

And so there you stand with her. Talking about the weather. Hoping, wishing if only she knew. But then you look into her eyes and you see - she knows. The half smile playing on her lips gives it away. 

And life becomes beautiful all over again..
